The cynic in me says management suckered everyone in during the first 3 quarters of last year then pulled the rug out from under folks. It doesn't really hurt them if the stock is trading where it's at today, as they get to load up on cheap options that should be very lucrative down the road.

The lower priced the better in the short run, especially if you are confident that your ability to execute the plan going forward is a lock. You may lose some credibility in the short run but again, why do you care if you get to exponentially increase your payout a few years from now?

On the other hand, CEOs are natural cheerleaders and tend to always want to sell you the company line. Nothing but blue skies ahead, even when the clouds would suggest otherwise. Somewhat understandable to me.

They have a tall mountain to climb and let's hope they've made enough progress in the past 8 months to give us all more encouragement that the long term prospects are as bright as they appear on paper.

Speaking of tall mountains, you need a 75% gain from here just to break even!! I think you'll do fine, just how long will it take is the big question to me. This is assuming they don't throw out another monkey wrench, gum up the works, ...insert your favorite cliché here....<g>
