I wonder when hubris kicks in? When it does, it's always evidenced by actions on their part that are really not good for anybody. I'm hearing from a lot of directions that the next few weeks could bring something. IF the AMOC has tipped due to that latest ice dump/melt event, which came AFTER the paper out of Potsdam was in publication, AND IF tptb are aware of it....they would be thinking that Europe is going to go into ice age-like conditions this Winter. They would want to get out ahead of it within the agenda. Maybe something in Europe more than here.
