  • TED: "There was an alleged security breach at a well known US based financial firm ..."

The alleged security breach at our well known US based financial firm was determined to be an email from CPG (Corporate Properties Group), announcing new Feb 2021 desk inspections arising from the Feb 2020 shelter-in-place orders for our corporate office workers. Paraphrased: "We're checking floor space desks and lockers for leftover foodstuffs, such as sandwiches, which may have inadvertently created a rodent biohazard issue in our corporate offices."

[Editor's note]: We were indeed required to leave in Feb 2020. We may — or may have not — left a turkey, on rye, w/ mayo, tomato in the corp kitchen area. Or cubicle. If there was a rodent issue, unplanned, I submit that Feb 2021 may have been a wee late to check and mark our workspaces for it.
