30% of hospitalised covids were vaccinated. That's a big failure rate. How many of the vaccinated got harmed by the vaccine? You didn't give that data. How many will be harmed by the vaccination after a few months or years?
Suppose 30% of adults have been vaccinated. With 30% of those in hospital having been vaccinated according to you, a placebo would have been as good as the vaccination. Except that there is harm from the vaccination to lots of people so having the vaccination would be crazy using your figures.
You write that the rate of hospitalisation has increased hyperbolically. Maybe you meant exponentially, geometrically, parabolically or asymptotically which is more likely. But maybe it is just hyperbole. Whichever, if the rate of hospitalisation is increasing the more people are being vaccinated, then vaccination might be causing the need for hospitalisation.
Or, I guess, you didn't give sufficient data. Or the data from the hospital is false.
On the other hand, if 99% of people have been vaccinated and 70% of hospital admissions have not been vaccinated then it would seem to be a good idea to be vaccinated there, using that vaccine. But even so, 30% of admissions being vaccinated is a bad result.
If 30% of Toyotas failed, or 30% of computers, people would be unimpressed.
A 30% vaccination failure is bad. And that's just a few months after vaccination. What's the rate going to be a year from now?
Why assume the vaccine gives 70% protection? I can't conclude that from the data you gave.
Also, the point of my slogan is that it's a slogan doing the thinking. A Goedelian self referential logic failure but run anyway. Like what's going on in thinking about covid 19, alpha to omega types.
The vaccines, especially the Moderna jab, are highly effective. You claim. But wasn't that data based on the silly trials last year in which effectiveness was measured by how many people got infected after a certain time? Other vaccines were tested at different times when there was more covid in the community.
In God We Trust, all others must have data.
That was a common sign in engineer's offices. An excellent slogan. But it does beg the question of which G.d and whose reporting of what they were told. I note it was always men who got the word and did the reporting. And head hacking of unbelievers.
I don't play poker but did engineering maths which included pretty high level statistics, probability, quantum physics and whatnot. So I'd back my probability functions against yours., hyperbolically speaking.
I have heard of a royal flush, in poker, which I guess is something about the king's data, logic and luck going down the dunny (Kiwi colloquialism alert).
Sometimes kings, emperors and Fauci aren't wearing any statistical clothes.
At present, there is no covid on the loose in Aotearoa-Zimbabwe, so I can avoid the vaccination harm without the covid risk. A Winn-win which is what I like. When covid gets loose, I can avoid people easily, and am in pretty good condition to not be badly harmed if I do get infected.
Skinny, 100/55 blood pressure, pulse ticking along at 50, no medical issues other than too much sun when young ( I mistakenly thought having brown skin due to sun tan was protection = it sort of is but total dose counts.) Eating A, D, C supplements. Cod liver oil = yummy. Lecithin too. Lots of meat including chicken liver. Loads of vegetables. And fruit. Go running, golfing, biking, swimming, lawn mowing, walking, whatnot. Psychologically bullet proof too. With the bullet holes to prove it (please ignore the limp). Those damn telomeres keep fizzling though and none of my parents, grand parents, great grand parents, back for a billion years are alive, so the trend is not good.
Maybe covid will get me. Or maybe I will get Fauci and co who invented it. Does he have shares in vaccine companies?

PS Thanks for enlightening We the Stupid, Stubborn, Idiots with your bits of data and reasoning. I don't have much data at all. Epidemiologists are apparently asleep on the job. So I can't show you are wrong with you being vaccinated. Being in the thick of it with so many vaccinated and unvaccinsted in hospital, you might be right. |
