You are mischaracterizing what I said.

My point is that we do not have the luxury of waiting because the variant is too infectious, thus threatening to overwhelm health care systems. This prevents patients with other health issues from being treated, increasing mortality in cases that are treatable.

And who are the patients threatening the function of health systems? Mostly dunderheads like you, the unvaccinated.

Not getting vaccinated for silly reasons, because we do not have enough ‘data’, is a selfish act with consequences beyond those affecting the recalcitrant individual.

We have enough data on which to make reasonable choices. We are not designing a space ship or an airplane. If we were, I’d agree with you.
