Well Mike, I come across sounding like a 'know-it-all' because I had to respond to a few people who I thought 'know-f-all'. Let me now go on record to state to everyone who will listen that I in no shape, way or form claim to know it all.

You ask reasonable questions. Even though I do not know all (and at the risk of sounding like a know-it-all) I will try to answer said questions.

1. To be up front, I am long PDG, and have no position in KRY.

Fair enough. Your choice.

2. I want everyone to make money. This is NOT a zero-sum game.

I agree that I too want everyone to make money. I disagree that this is NOT a zero-sum game. It is VERY MUCH a zero-sum game. Whatever PDG or KRY loses, the other gains. To me, with my limited knowledge, that adds up to zero.

3. I purchased PDG as a long term investment, not speculation on LC ruling.

No criticism intended, but I would question the wisdom of this decision. You are much better off with ABX IMO. Did you read the PDG article in the Grope & Maul today?

4. Neither PDG or KRY will do much until POG > US$350.

I'll reserve judgement on this one. While it is true that a $350/oz Au price would help greatly, I think that LC can be economic even at $300/oz (in my humble opinion of course).

If the answer is so cut and dried, why is it taking so long for a ruling?

Interesting question coming from someone in the PDG camp. It has always been PDG who has claimed this case is 'cut and dried'. KRY has consistently fought for an accomodation. Maybe you should ask Mr. Legatt? At the risk of sounding all-knowing, MY opinion is that Venezuela has seen the economic light and is about to re-invent itself. It is about to throw out its old corrupt ways and usher in a whole new way of doing business. There is also the small matter of constitutional crisis evolving out of the MEM's refusal to accept the Supreme Court's verdicts. You see, this case is about a lot more than 'just' a few million oz's of gold. And it takes time for the parties involved to get all their ducks in a row. Now, why do YOU think it's taking so long?

...while the Venezuelan court obviously obtuse or brain damaged or something

EXCUSE ME SIR. Please show me where I made this statement?
