A 13G is the registration statement that must be filed with the
SEC whenever a fund or person acquires more than 5% of a company's
stock. A 13 G must also be filed when that amount drops below 5%.
In this case, Merrill Lynch Asset Management filed that they own
7.3% of the Cirrus Logic stock or 5,352,593 shares. Merrill Lynch
Growth Fund also registered 5,347,093 shares for 7.3%, and Princeton
Securities filed 5,352,593 shares for 7.3%. The only question
I have is if the shares of Princeton and the shares of the Asset
Management fund are the same shares or both own 5,352,593 shares.
Can anyone with more knowledge of these statements clear this up?
You can verify this at freeedgar.com
