To the short term exuberant bulls and the others on the thread:
PEOPLE!!! GET A CLUE!! I can't believe that this many people are talking about how shorting Cisco is such a STUPID move! Can you honestly say that you truly believe that this stock is NOT going down the least bit in the short term? Not even a point?? People, this stock has a history of volatility, regardless of how well it is doing and regardless of the future of the network market. I can understand that you people think like I do, that this is a FANTASTIC stock to own for the long term. In fact, I am probably the biggest Cisco nut on this thread. But, I am patient with my returns, and I understand that my profits will rise and fall on a daily basis, but I will have a higher profit in the long run. Of course, I admit that I was a little worried last Spring, but I didn't know as much then as I do now. But, I did have the common sense to dig down into my pockets and throw all the spare change that I had back into the stock. You bulls should be hoping for a short term fall so that you can scoop up more low(er)-cost shares.
I would like to what you people are thinking. Respond to this message and just say what you expect in the short term for this stock. For example, I would respond:
I expect this stock to dip into the high 50's short term and then recover<EOM>.
So, lets see how you people really think. If you think this stock is headed for 100 in the next month or two, lets hear it!!!!
