B.S. It is interesting to see our numbers dont match...I get mine from quote.com

that could kind of mess you up...with not getting precise accurate numbers..hmmmm

what do you mean that the ARMS is clearly acting differently now..I still have the ARMS at under 4

In a number of the above examples, you would not have had the benefit of the entire
point move because you would not have known the ARMs until the market closed.

so are you saying the high was on 1 day...it came down some the same day...it came down some the next day but you wouldnt have got in on 1 day because you didnt know the trin until closed?

Also, during that time frame how many times have you seen it give a false signal???

btw....your last paragraph gets into what you and fred and I were talking about yesterday....you say we are in an uptrend...i say we are going down right now..but I dont dare say we are in a trading range or not in an uptrend etc.......all I say is that my thinking is down for time being...

so lets see how reliable the indicator is...

also....have you noticed whether it is typically a day early...or is it possible that something slightly under 4 TRIN might give you an intraday down day.. like Mondays trin for tuesday which was down part of the day...

just looking at ALL angles...
