I've been wondering who is benefiting, and paying for all the anti-vax nonsense. I think one of the answers is the company Genentech. They have been working for years on monoclonal antibody treatments for viral infections and the advent of designer vaccines like mRNA threatens to make their therapy unnecessary. There are some other treatments such as Regeneron and Remdesivir which also have big VC firms backing their investments.
