Vanni,
I assume the "suit" you refer to here is not " Versace" as in what Bean wears to work as he slays his dragons and counts his money, but rather as in " Class Action"
Let me be so bold to suggest that the chances of a CA up here in Canada, the land of the complacent and polite, are remote at best. Contingency cases are illegal, on the surface at least, and a nominal plaintiff would have to raise ten's of thousands of dollars to even get a lawyer to study the case. Then there are the inevitable conflicts of interest, and the thing never gets off the ground.
Any successful CA will positively, absolutely, have to come from that Great Republic to the South, where you have firms that specialize in CA's. You need an American resident who files a "nominal" complaint and they will take the case on a purely contingent basis, taking a cut of about 40% of the proceeds of a successful judgement.
I once day traded Discreet Logic for a point two years ago. Never looked at it since. Last week, I filled out a declaration from a Law firm in NYC., stating that i was a "registered" holder of DSLGF during the critical period. In 1 or 2 years from now, I may receive a cheque in the mail for "damages". In the States, folks, never in Canada.
If you are serious about this "suit" may I suggest the following link
