The viral wave that has recently struck young people in the U.S. has ensnared the country’s elderly population, with hospitalizations among seniors in some hot-spot states nearing their previous peaks. How is it possible that elderly populations are nearing their previous peaks in hospitalization... when more than 90% of the elderly have been vaxxed ? That says... the vax does not work... so they want to give "boosters" of a vax that they KNOW doesn't work... so that it can not work even harder ? That they persist in this obscene vax hoax... as that is all that it can be seen as, now... is criminal... when they know damned well there are MULTIPLE things out there now that are fully functional as preventives... and treatments exist ensuring no one who gets it must die. But, they suppress preventives that work and known functional and effective treatment options... The only preventives they will authorize are ones they know DO NOT prevent it ? Clearly not right. ‘Something Is Rotten in the State Of Denmark’"... seems it has never been more aptly applied. Delta... doesn't care about the vax... ? Or, "in some hot-spots" is knowingly misrepresenting the issue ? They must be referring to the post super spreader event rate that occurred at Obama's birthday party ? My local #'s show... fewer than 5% tested are positive... the case rate is 0.64 % of the population... just over one half of one percent. The percentage of the population hospitalized is averaging 0.0184%... eighteen one-thousandths of 1 percent... which is only 2.7% of the active cases... And, of all those new cases since the resurgence of Covid as Delta began... the number of deaths is ZERO. The total number of tested positive cases reported, from the start of Covid... is 10.85% of the population... the total number of deaths is 0.125% of the population... just over 1/10th of one percent... or 1.15% of the total number of reported cases. That is so far away from a crisis... its ridiculous. That has it being about typical of an annual flu bug in its impact in mortality... here. But, all of that mortality was due to the original Covid A wave... and none of it is due to the current wave... That doesn't say much about the justification for what was done last year... as that's the rate of mortality with what was done... not what that rate might have been without measures being taken ? But, it does suggest the Delta is... the nothing burger I've pronounced it to be... While touted as "more virulent... more transmissible"... Covid A was 7 to 8 times less transmissible than an average flu bug... so had many fewer cases... but did kill a lot more of those that it did infect... All saying... the best idea, still, is to not get it... but while you're busy not getting it. make sure its the Covid A variant that you're not getting... far more than not getting the Covid D variant... ? They are still reporting increases in the numbers of those who are vaccinated... but, oddly, the only change that can be seen occurring now is in the younger population... so the parents who are vaccinated are now getting their kids vaccinated... but, those doing so are... fewer in number. The new rate and pace is more than 30% below that occurring for adults before "the issues" became known... I have no data... no way of obtaining it... but the "feel" I gets has me suspects the vaccination numbers are being over-reported...
