Because of Trump's terrible deal, Biden had three options:

1) Break the deal early, send in more troops, find a permanent equilibrium

2) Pull out & let Taliban win

3) Break the deal late, send in thousands of troops, spend another decade & 1,000 US lives pushing Taliban back
