The war had been Afghanized and our troops were in a training and air support role. Staying in wouldn't have been that big a deal. The damage that the Surrender will do is unknown. The Taliban can't be trusted. We killed Osama Bin Laden and gave the Taliban a good ass-whipping. We were able to do that because we had a base to operate out of. We won't have that anymore.
