I spoke with Gerard Amlin the other day on the progress at Amherstburg. He said things were going good. They were working towards finalizing financing to allow them to dramatically increase the capacity at this site. They have already announced interim financing to allow them to get started. If all their planning comes together, they hope to have the second unit operational by June.

I asked about the open house and grand opening they were planning when I visited the site last October. Gerard told me they still wanted to have it, perhaps even yet this month. Even before the first plant was operational, they were getting requests to take more waste then they could process so they have accelerated their efforts to increase capacity. In so doing, they have not had time to devote to planning their open house. They also have been contacted by feedlot owners and large pig farms about franchising. Although they are set up to do this, I don't think there is anyone scheduled yet to start training. If you would like to tour the facility, give Gerard a call at 415-355-4050 and schedule a visit. Personally I'm going to wait and try to make the open house when there will be news media and government officials present.

I've been told that Jack Wilson recently returned from India where they did some successful remediation work and are expecting a lot more contracts from this country.

All in all, I think it looks really good for this company. The only thing that I see lacking is a little PR to promote the stock. However, I feel confident that the work they are doing now will surely lead to profits that in the long run will do what a PR firm may be able to do now.
