Hi AJ, We have two veggie choppers and they have been worn out an replaced by others - VERY TIME EFFICIENT. lightinthebox.com As far as Italian sausage goes, my wife's father had an Italian butcher shop in little Italy on Taylor street (downtown Chicago). She shared her father's recipe with a local meat market (Howards Grove meat market) and we mixed it with venison (I hunt every year on my land - organic corn fed deer), your dad would love it no fat and good premium protein.
