i was looking for a golf umbrella but didn't find what i wanted on amazon where i buy everything. i went to wal mart and it had the umbrella and available tuesday. I bought it and yup it came a week from the next tuesday. I can't stand to go into the wal mart store. even though the store is only about ten years old it feels like a dump! to go through a cash out it can take up to 45 minutes. the place is full all the time.

a mile down the road is a target. it is about eight years old, clean, very clean. the store is always full however the registers are staffed appropriately for the customers in the store. a line starts forming up and another staffer person is called to the register.

It is enjoyable to shop in target!

However, i had a bad experiences or two with target on line many years ago. They are two different companies under one corporation. on line doesn't share inventory with the stores and in return the stores do not want to take back any mdse. purchased on line.

when Christmas shopping years ago i experienced just looking at toy got shipped to me. it was not expensive so kept it and paid for it along with the other mdse. I figured some executive programmed the system to do this to upsell. thinking people will not return the item. just my opinion. then the next year i looked at a tv and it got shipped to me. i tried to get it returned and was having difficulty. so i wrote a letter to the CEO explaining what was going on in the on line store. I got approval to return the tv.

i buy in target but never on line since my terrible experiences. Yes, those executives are most likely retired and the systems changed but they lost an on line customer.

I enjoyed buying from amazon and have since the beginning. some times you get same day delivery. it is amazing.
