188 pages is a lot of reading, but I read most of it with an open mind and skimmed most the rest. I am unconvinced.

I have worked in leading edge labs and R&D. Being secretive is part of their DNA and for good reasons. I can easily explain away everything that document says if I start with the presumption of innocence.

This does not mean that QS could not be a fraud. But Scorpion is a very long way from proving its case or even creating reasonable doubt.

Here is a link to interviews from Glassdoor glassdoor.com The only negative feedback is from an employee who left 5 years ago. A lot can change in a startup over a 5 year term.

To know better about QS claims and technology we'll have to analyze their data. That is unlikely to be published, but I will keep my eyes (and my mind) open. In the meantime good technical analysis and insider watching should provide clues about the truth.

One last thing: startups often create "marchitecture" slides for their roadshow. I've been hired in the past to help some with such "proof of concept" architectures. They are just wishful thinking but not terribly unreasonably so. I didn't see the reference to where those QS slides came from. If they are within the past 12 months (and can be read in full) then I can scrutinize them. But if they are old or are not publicly available in full, then it is possible (likely?) that Scorpion is selectively choosing them to make their case.
