<<Why doesn't a conspiracy theorist ever target Insurance companies?>>

I worked for an insurance company and previously worked at a bank. I would not use the words "conspiracy theorist" rather "conspiracy factist" btw.

Why would the insurance company be mixed up with conspiracies? They might be "price arranging" with other companies (a crime for sure), and undue profit making , but compared to a bank, they are not even in the same league.

An example: At both the bank and the insurance company I was trained to be alert for money laundering. In the banks case they are focused on the small time thieves & pilferers while the same bank launders hundreds of millions to the worst criminals on the planet, and it hardly makes the news. Or do you doubt that is true?

Insurance companies are exposed to criminal activities, and in my experience, do their best to prevent it to reduce costs.
