why do you say that Oracle is transitioning to NT? Oracle is an enterprise software company - they get the vast majority of their business on Unix. They dont have the feet on the street to sell NT in volume nor do they have the distribution channel. As their large customers deploy NT servers as part of thier infrastrucutre with Unix and Mainframes they inevitably buy some of their software on NT. Thats the big benefit of Oracle over Microsoft - it runs on All platforms. No enterprise of any size uses exclusively NT and sql*server will always be hobbled by that.

Plus Oracle software on NT is the same price as Unix.
