It can take several days for a sub micron particle to fall even 5 feet in still air. Put some air currents in there and we are talking forever.

Does anyone wonder how viruses can transmit thousands of miles in a few days ? Clue: modern air travel not needed.

and when does one take a mask off in "the safe environment", and exactly where is that ????????

and referring to your post here.

"The takeaway is that this study shows one type of protective equipment is not superior to the other," she said. "Facilities have several options to provide protection to their staff -- which include surgical masks -- and can feel that staff are protected from seasonal influenza. Our study supports that in the outpatient setting there was no difference between the tested protections."

What is being stated is ZERO times any number is still zero.

0 x N100,000(mask) = 0

It is simple as that.

The evidence suggests that masks are USELESS in the circumstances stated (i.e. not a top spec biolab or very special hospital indeed)

Maybe the data and the science is already correct ? I mean the data pre COVID btw...
