I remember my friend who is still camped out on Koh Samui said to invest in bitcoin, I did not listen, even as he was in touch with the financial deep-state sort, turning 20M into 135M - thinking back the episode had the feel of <<pre-planned, and pre-announced... but withholding awareness of the plan to make it more interesting>> I did not follow the bitcoin ‘thing’ until very late, Oct 2020, but still good. On gold am sort of pre-positioned, so am good to watch.
