Given that Japan never prosecuted war criminals whereas Germany did and does, and Japan denies just about all aspects of WWII, by government ministers, in officially sanctioned text books, and its politicians regularly pay homage at the shrine where USA-convicted war criminals are buried, would observe that WWII is effectively not over, especially as there are outstanding issues of islands and Taiwan still dangling.
How would it go if German government does same w/r to Hitler?
