Just in case you want to see some of the articles try this... Go to techweb.com (a GREAT site for tech info) Select the Search option. Search on the word "brokerage" in the publication "Internet Week". The first search page returns an article on what E*Trade is doing to upgrade, and there's another article on Schwab's alliance with MCI to improve things. On the second search page is an article from Nov. 3 right after the meltdown. I'm sure there are more interesting articles on the subject, but I stopped there. And back to the topic of this thread, this search turns up an article on e-commerce too.
