Thanks, Neeka. That reminds me of the time I heard bawling that sounded like a child crying when I was working in a dense of patch of young growth trees. I went towards the sound and saw that it was a bear baby. Knowing that mama might be nearby and would object to my presence, I just backed slowly away and never saw her. That's pretty much the way I have lived to be as old as I am now. I have had so many close calls which would have completely wiped me out if it had been an arm's length closer and not had a scratch out of them--I think God loves me.
