today, we spent time at the local shelter with a dog having Griffin and Border Collie in the breed mix plus other unknowns 6 months old, so it is hard to know what to expect at age 2 to 3 all the Griffin's I have been around are a bit larger / longer than a Border Collie the puppy will be paired at our home with our Border Collie / Shepherd mixed breed companion who is about 3 years old, also a rescue from a shelter
