I would also like some other opinions on the potential for use of abacavir without protease inhibitors. My own recollection was that the abacavir cocktail was not as effective without a protease inhibitor as other cocktails with protease inhibitors.
Glaxo will shortly have a protease inhibitor of its own to push, if that makes any difference.
