Trading volumes for the last four days:

3.705M+2.118M+1.48M+3.076M = over 10.2M shares traded at $16+

(This is NASD, so many trades are double-counted).

Out of 4M short interest reported as of Mid-January, at least 2.2M are shares shorted by bondholders, which leaves 1.8M "uncovered shorts" at the time.

Given the last 4 days volume, I think the short squeeze (if it ever existed) is over. Time to start watching SOX trends again.
