It's strengthening as they predicted, and even tho it moves just to the west of NOLA metro, that means we are on the dirty side of the storm... And it's a HUGE storm, kinda like Katrina

The good news for us in NOLA is we have much better storm flood level protections because what they improved since Katrina

But it's gonna be a large mess, just due to the size of the storm

Hurricane Camille in 1969 had 190 MPH winds when it hit MS not too far from NOLA, but it was a small concentrated storm... it seems we are getting larger storms over the years... gee, what could be the cause??
