It surprised me too, all of that. It wasn't with any great conviction that I put the orders in. You're right, the market can't be predicted in these juniors, but it was a tidy profit with a perceived threat, and I took it.
What really ticked me today was that I had left a high-ball sell order in for PFG, had forgotten about it, and lost some shares. Not many, no big deal, but it wasn't the day to be shaving dimes and quarters. That's a bad practice anyway, it works fine on the buy side, but you can lose shares way too early on the upside, especially when you're not paying attention.
Looks like Aber dropping out was a surprise to George, too. Yes, it'll be good to hear what he has to say.
