Thursday Feb 5: Skys are generally clear, temperature 45 degrees, and winds are light. Looks like a great day for a launch. However, I too called the Boeing Delta hotline 714-896-4470 and heard about the delay until tomorrow. Local weather reports call for continued improvement and some warming. The surface winds last night were quite gusty and would have caused problems for launch preparations even though the winds are relatively calm now at 7:27 EST.
