MT: Years ago, in my early days in the political arena, someone told me the following, which has become my favorite "line" relating to politics/law: "Those who like sausage and the law should never watch either being made." I think it applies well to Beasley's attempted end run around the Senate Finance Committee. Law making can be a truly ugly process. TKA
