Joe, just wanted to set the record straight about some things.
First, I'm not a disgruntled ex IDT employee. I've worked
at a computer company, the same one, for twice as long as IDT's been around.

The highest dollar commodities that go into our machines have always been
SRAM and DRAM (the CPU stuff is proprietary). THEREFORE, WHEN SOMEONE IN HERE
ASKED IF THERE WERE SOMEONE ELSE WHO MAY HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN SRAM/DRAM,
THE OVERSUPPLY SITUATION AND WHAT MAY HAPPEN NEXT, I FELT I WAS
QUALIFIED TO SPEAK UP (THE 1980'S STORY). Sorry about the shouting.

It's obvious that most people will listen to only what they want to hear.
I've got some advice for these folks:

Get real.
Don't shoot the messenger.

BTW, there isn't much R&D you can do in the RAM design area, just make them
smaller and faster. If someone in the industry comes up with an innovation,
the rest can copy it pretty fast.

Finally, why don't people rename this thread "The IDTI stock fan club
and support group". Attach a warning: objective comments that are
in any way negative are not welcome.

Liz
