JFK, the Iraq war, 911, the sinking of the Titanic, all these things were investigated.

In the case of the Titanic, they found some kick dogs to kick, but that was it. Fact is, all ships of that period proceeded at full speed, and they all went through the ice fields.

So forgetting the controversies, investigations don't work generally. Even investigations of investigations don't work. The investigation of the Warren report should have come up with something by now. I think it is kind of clear now, there is still some loose ends that need tying up. -g-

But things can get fixed. I never realised what a good statistician Florance Nightingale was. She nailed certain medical controversies, and, well, nobody tries to argue with her POV these days -g-
