It certainly was oversold the day it dropped 10 points, but that doesn't mean that a stock can't become more oversold. There are patterns to look for in the various indicators once a stock has made a significant drop to indicate a bottom, and the indicators usually do not agree; it takes experience to determine which ones to give more weight. Stocks usually do not bottom on the day of a big drop; it usually takes a couple of weeks or longer.

ORCL has been consolidating the last few days as Tech Master and I suggested might happen. It may now be ready to resume the uptrend.

Regarding analysts, I regard them as historians, as they frequently upgrade or downgrade on the days of the moves prior to the openings -- I think I could do that.
