| | | When it comes to humanity, or inhumanity, somethings need to be said over and over.
Do you feel the constant fight against segregation in the south and MLK's civil rights marches, conducted over and over was too much?
Or the protests against the Viet Nam war, conducted over and over.
How about the women's fight for the right to vote. Was that too much?
How about the fights against racism, sexism and homophobia, conducted none stop. Was that too much?
Or how about the fight against "the Gentlemen's agreement" which was the racism conducted against the Jews? Or the slaughter of Jews by the Germans?
Did people protest too much?
How about the new ruling effectively outlawing abortion, or the Republican efforts to undermine our democracy?
Should we not fight against all those terrible things for as long as they exist?
When is enough enough when people are being harmed, tortured and killed, or a democracy like our is imperiled. ??
