This is why I try not to engage in partisan arguments. They are like my invisible friend is better than your invisible friend kind of debates. For the record, the very definition of a political party is that of a group of like minded people getting together to further their political agendas. So I don't see how your highly inaccurate comment about MAGA and GOP makes them a cult even if it was true. But you could say that the GOP is a more unified and therefore a stronger party than the Democrats. Meanwhile Obama and Biden have had to kowtow to pesky lone votes who hold them at a gun's barrel. There is certainly something to be learned from this. Furthermore, before Trump there was no MAGA movement in GOP. In fact I clearly remember several of them running on a platform of protecting the GOP values from Trump... and... they all lost. So GOP is more responsive to the will of its base which is one of the reasons they have better turn outs than the Democrats. One who does not learn from his mistakes is doomed to repeat them. Anyways, no more partisan discussions from me. Sorry to have brought it up.
