Policy difference. High New York crime. Gulliani stop and frisk, hard nosed crack downs. Dems screamed, lawsuits etc. Crime went down. Times square safe for families, strip clubs gone. Dem takes over. Handles criminals with kit gloves, hug your rapist, tip your mugger policies. Crime back up. Pretty simple to see what the difference is.
