governments all want a bigger piece of pie, once they see how bug the pie is. The Congo isn't a heck of a lot worse than Newfoundland + Inco. AMZ screwed up some time ago - there are a number of other companies who are not having difficulties w/ the gov't. ILP for one - and check out their board - involves someone who sits on the mining advisory bd in Congo. AMZ has dug a deep hole for themselves unfortunately - but not all stocks deserve the same brush. As noted BNRS has/works w/ a company that has long ties on the Congo and has figgered out how to survive this long.
