You say it is not in the US DNA anymore, and I say that the US has found cheaper ways of achieving the same ends. You can't distinguish the two because they amount to the same thing.

The US empire usually takes the Viking form. Barring that, it goes the Persian way. And only if that is not the option will we try the Roman way. I will be proven wrong if the US government ever actually doesn't explore these imperialistic methods and sticks purely to mutual negotiations with a much weaker nation.
