PI at Piper Sandler - 9/9/21 Short Q&A with Chris, it was only 14 minutes. They are also holding one on one meetings at Piper on 9/14. - He brought up an interesting Covid angle for self-checkout, since the items are only handled by the customer. He also outlined how the self checkout process works. - In the two large N/A logistics companies, he said they both have been piloting for years and both are now deploying and going live. - Retail apparel is about 15% penetrated. All other markets are sub-1%. - The following regions are the leader in each respective vertical. Retail apparel - worldwide. Logistics - N/A. Auto - Germany for manufacturing, N/A for parts suppliers. Aviation was the US with Delta, but Asia is now leading due to Covid. Food - N/A. Healthcare - N/A and Europe. Government - worldwide. He said he expects all of the markets to eventually be worldwide. - In addition to prior comments about competition, he said RAIN RFID itself has no real competition.
