Woodfield visit, Wed, Feb 4, 1998,6 PM, wife, daughter and me.
Ordered some frozen daquri type drinks, got ice cream headaches.
Ordered appetizer flat bread, sent it back, underdone, not crispy.
Ordered Rasta, looked and tasted OK, nothing to write home about.
Three guys in RAIN gear at a large table taste testing food items, with a checklist, one looked like the head chef, so some quality control was in process.
Not crowded, no line, few more people at 7 when we left. Retail has items from all over the world now-Turkey, Russia, Far East, USA, etc. so some buyer is on the ball.
Wilson's leather up the hall a bit was pretty full, with a sale on. So Berman's still in business there.
New restaurant called "Stir It Up" down the hall from RAIN was pretty full-Asian/fusion stuff, make it yourself or order it from menu.
Overall, a substandard evening for $75.00.
