My, my, mindmeld, you are naive. You "hope" MSFT didn't
bully customers? MSFT has the largest reputation in corporate
America today as a bully, and their own executives admit that
their philosophy is to push to the limit that the law will allow.
Note, since law is an interpretive venture, especially in new
areas like software, that means inevitably MSFT will end up in
court, because that is the only way what is allowed is determined.
So, I can assure you MSFT will be tangoing with DOJ the rest of
the century and beyond, and probably at least half the time will
find itself on the wrong side of the law.
