No obvious big story. All the indices and the portfolios generally lost a little ground. Nothing stood out in the big movers, at least that I knew about (not that I check them individually). While I wasn’t paying attention, it seems the AVERAGE YTD return is now a few points in the black. This is a measure mostly of an overall improvement of the top end portfolios over the last month or so, currently 13 are above water. It was only a month or so ago where that number was 8. Alas, the median return hasn’t budged much.

Basically, since the average is up 1.16%, it means that the contestants have overall have been breaking even. Of course, the devil is in the details.
