Does anyone have any info on future roll-out rates by the different cable cos ? Beyond their statements that they had 50,000 subscribers at year end (vs 26,000 at end September) I have seen nothing quantitative about the cable cos' plans.

Information on the total number of cable households that each of the partners have would be interesting too. TCI customer service told me that "unfortunately, we do not have a deployment schedule for the next few months. We are expanding this year and often follow the release of digital cable". So any info on digital cable could be good too.

If anyone else feels like working this out, here is a site where Cox gives its rollout plans by zip codes.

cox.com

It looks like around 50% of their cable zip codes will *start* to have service by around March, though full roll-out within each zip code seems like it would take at least a few more months.

There's nothing like this on the TCI or Comcast websites, but the Cox stuff looks fairly positive if they're typical. The financial condition of the other companies could be a brake though...

Any info, thoughts ? Let's see if the group here can't put together some good guesses about rollout.

Regards, Roger.
