The math could very well work on plastic bricks. As far as building materials, used plastic is already heated and extruded into plastic deck boards...which probably had a heyday a few months ago when lumber prices went through the roof. I'm sure a lot of people who wanted to build a deck onto their house were swayed by prices at that time.

There are plastic pavers as well. Plastic bricks won't have the compressive strength of regular bricks but there's probably a use for them.
