Buffet and the market

It seems to me that Buffet is about a year ahead of the market in terms of his perspective. He was acquiring silver last year and thus has an enormous profit built into his holdings.

In this day of complex transactions, when Soros hits a currency and moves into and out of treasuries before others even think to buy, where can we find someone who would understand what Buffet is doing.

Certainly not in today's general press. I can barely find out from the general press which Japanese banks are at risk from their Indonesian exposure. And that is critical information!
