Yes, to copy programs from the TiVo I use a program called cTiVo on my Mac and it works quite well for transferring and encoding shows for permanent storage –– basically anything I can't find on YouTube already or want in higher quality.

That's a good idea about Peacock, I'll use that if I ever want to watch anything on it.

Thanks for the Plex info, but I'll have to wait until I can set up my NAS system to put all my stuff on it and encode a bunch more. I have many DVDs and Blu-rays yet to encode for that setup.

Hopefully someone else reading this can take advantage of the Plex deal, and I believe it always goes on sale for Black Friday too.
