Tom,

You may be right about KSO operations in future. Changes in KSO agreements will take quite some time to be negotiated and it's some thing to think about if you are going to hold this stock for a long time. Right now it should not be a major issue. In the immediate future it's Rp/ Dollar rate that will determine it's price.

Future of HKT is much more difficult to assess correctly. A lot of people think eventually HKT will be one of the major carriers in China. Hong Kong is a mature market for telecommunications and HKT's growth prospects in Hong Kong alone are not that exciting. However for investing I follow the rule buy low based on present and not on future projections. Sell it when the price moves up. I am not very good at predicting the future . For the right price I will buy any stock as long as it's not expected to go bankrupt. HKT at current prices appears fully valued to me. If you are looking for a future growth story in telecom operaters TBR will fit the bill. However I consider it fully priced at 113, my buy limit is 70 and it may never get there.

Best wishes,

Jyoti
