While this approach was "clever" in a situation where most people were never exposed/vaccinated, it leaves those vaccinated who retain significant residual risk (namely, the elderly) in a state of uncertainty and without help from treatment. They need to figure out a new proxy for "insufficient memory response" or "late-starting memory response" in the vaccinated to determine who among them can be and can't be saved by this treatment in a breakthrough case.
